In cooperation with Winona Family YMCA, Winona Outdoor Collaborative will host a free, family-friendly outdoor Prairie Wildflower Hike. We will climb the bluff at Camp Wenonah. Guided by a Master Naturalist and longtime outdoor educator, we’ll observe plants and wildlife. We will hear birds and perhaps see signs of other wild animals. In the prairie at the top of the bluff, we will notice many varieties of wildflower, both native and invasive. Wear sturdy shoes or boots. Bring water, hat, sunscreen, and bug repellent. This event is appropriate for all ages.
Free to Attend! Registration required. *For this hike only, participants must sign waivers for both Winona Outdoor Collaborative and Winona Family YMCA.
